Role Overview
As an ABC in Test, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems within the Logistics & Transport sector. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our services and support our mission to provide outstanding care and logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software and system components related to logistics and transport operations.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality testing coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects and work with teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Automate test cases where applicable to improve efficiency and repeatability of testing processes.
- Perform regression, functional, performance, and integration testing to ensure system robustness.
- Analyse test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools within the team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in software testing and logistics technology.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role, preferably within the Logistics & Transport industry.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Good knowledge of logistics systems, transport management, or supply chain solutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB) are advantageous but not essential.
